APPRENTICESHIP.

The professional apprenticeship, once a staple of the learning process, has largely disappeared from primary education. The current educational paradigm focuses an inordinate amount of time on the "theoretical" and nearly zero time on realizable products and the participatory process by which they are created. We are in the process of a 5-year longitudinal case study on the efficacy of modern apprenticeships and the feasibility of large-scale voluntary implementation of such programs.
